iPhone 18 Is Here, But Apple May Have 7 More Products Coming in October
Apple could have more launches planned for October 2026, including new MacBook Pro and iMac models, a possible touchscreen MacBook, and upgraded smart home devices such as Apple TV and HomePod models.
Apple could be gearing up for another busy month, with new MacBook Pro models, a touchscreen MacBook and several Home products reportedly set to launch in October. Apple has wrapped up one of its biggest product events of the year, unveiling the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, the new iPhone Duo, AirPods 5 and new Apple Watch models. However, the company may still have more launches planned for 2026. Several products are reportedly in development, with October emerging as a possible launch window. The expected lineup could include new Mac models as well as a range of smart home devices aimed at expanding Apple’s presence in the connected-home market. Here’s a look at the Apple products that could reportedly launch in October 2026.
New MacBook Pro and iMac models
Apple has already introduced several Mac products this year, including the MacBook Neo, M5 MacBook Air, high-end M5 MacBook Pro, Mac mini and Mac Studio. However, a report by 9to5Mac suggests that more Mac upgrades could be on the way. One of the biggest expected changes could be an all-new MacBook Pro/Ultra featuring a touchscreen OLED display. If launched, the device would represent a significant change to Apple’s long-standing MacBook design philosophy. Apple is also reportedly developing a new 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by the M6 chip. An updated iMac featuring a more powerful processor and new colour options could also be introduced. The potential touchscreen MacBook is likely to attract the most attention. Apple has traditionally kept touchscreen technology away from its MacBook lineup, making such a product a major shift for the company.
Apple’s smart home push could get an AI upgrade
Apple may also use October to expand its smart home product lineup. The company’s expected Home refresh was not announced during its September event, potentially leaving room for new devices later this year. A new Apple TV 4K is reportedly in the works and could feature the A19 Pro chip, enhanced Siri AI capabilities and an updated Siri Remote. Apple could also introduce the long-rumoured HomePad or HomePod Touch, which is expected to function as a smart home hub with a built-in touchscreen. The HomePod mini 2 is another potential launch. It could bring a faster processor and improvements to audio performance. A refreshed HomePod 3 is also reportedly being considered, with AI-powered Siri expected to play an important role in Apple’s broader smart home strategy. While Apple has not officially confirmed these products or an October launch event, the reported lineup suggests that the company could have several more announcements in store before the end of 2026.
